Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 18, 2026
Awaken Field is operated by WebPoint LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). Awaken Field is a private space for your spiritual journey. Your writing is yours — it's private by default, we don't sell your data, and we never use it for advertising. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details — the email you sign up with. Your password is stored as a secure hash; we never see it in plain text.
- What you write— your moments (titles, entries, dates), intentions (“stars”), and any images, videos, or links you add as Memory Fragments.
- Derived insights — your entries are analyzed into structured details like themes, emotions, and stages to power the field (see AI processing).
- Basic technical data — standard server and security logs (such as IP address and timestamps) needed to run and protect the service.
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
Only to provide and protect the service: to store and display your journey, generate the insights and connections that make it meaningful, send you account emails (signup confirmation, password reset), and guard against abuse. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
AI processing
To turn your writing into a living field, the content of your entries is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, which analyzes it to produce metadata like summaries, themes, and emotions. Under Anthropic's API terms, this content is not used to train their AI models. This analysis runs automatically on entries you create.
Service providers we share with
We rely on a small set of trusted providers, each processing data only for its part of the service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- Anthropic — AI analysis of entry content (above)
- Resend — sending account emails
- Vercel — hosting the app
- Cloudflare — bot protection on the sign-in and sign-up forms
Beyond these providers, we don't disclose your data to any other company or third party, except where required by law. What other people can see is decided by you, not by us: your moments are private unless you make one public or share it by link, and your public moments can appear to other signed-in members only if you turn on Forests. Those controls are described below.
Your privacy controls
- Private by default. Every moment you write is private to you; nothing is public unless you choose to share it.
- Sharing is your choice. You can make an individual moment public, or share a link to one moment or your whole tree. Links to individual moments use unguessable addresses, are excluded from search engines, and you can revoke them anytime. Your tree's own address is also unguessable and excluded from search engines; it stays the same for as long as your tree has public moments — making a moment private removes it from that page.
- Forests are opt-in. If you turn on Forests in Settings, your public moments can appear in the field — a shared space where other signed-in members, including people you don't know, explore each other's trees and can open your public tree. Turning Forests off takes you out of future fields; it can't take back what someone has already seen. You can hide, block, and report from the field.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Self-serve account deletion isn't built into the app yet — to delete your account and all its content, email hello@awakenfield.comand we'll remove it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data anytime by emailing hello@awakenfield.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA, and we'll honor them.
Security
We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed credentials, and access controls that keep your private content scoped to you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
Children
Awaken Field isn't intended for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date above.
